The entire planning, organization, and implementation of basic and treatment care, including tasks that can be delegated by doctors, is the sole responsibility of qualified nursing staff. This system is based on primary care, with responsibility for care documentation. We are participating in the German Federal Government's "Debureaucratization of Care" project to free up more time for our residents.
Nursing assistant / geriatric care assistant
This job profile can be seen as a link between the careers of nursing assistants and those of certified geriatric and healthcare nursing. This requires independent performance of basic care and preventative care, as well as assistance in treatment care. Under certain conditions, independent performance of treatment-related nursing activities, such as changing PEG dressings, changing tracheostomy tube dressings, changing wound dressings, and administering subcutaneous injections, is possible.
Nursing assistance
This job profile primarily involves assisting and partially independent performance of basic nursing tasks. The minimum requirement is successful completion of the 200-hour basic course. To meet our high standards of quality care and counteract the current shortage of skilled nursing staff, we train this professional group to become certified geriatric nurses.
Special education nursing
Special education nursing accompanies and supports our residents to strengthen their independence and enable them to lead as independent a life as possible in everyday life. The nursing staff takes into account the type and severity of their individual illnesses. Special education nursing encourages our residents to engage in meaningful leisure activities, such as painting, playing music, or swimming.
In addition, assistance is provided with personal hygiene, feeding, and dressing and undressing (basic care). Organizational and administrative tasks, such as planning and designing leisure programs or creating support plans, are also performed.

As part of the generalized nursing training, we work in close cooperation with the Diakonisches Bildungswerk Lobetal, the Academy of Health and the Employment Agency.
We will accompany you during your practical training with our own practical instructors and base our training on the content of the company training plan of the state of Brandenburg.
